Brad & His Student's Have Achieved A Lot

With over 40 years of riding and training experience, Brad Cutshall has guided countless horses and riders to success at every level of dressage — from first tests to international performances.

His depth of experience allows Brad to help each student reach their full potential, whatever their goals may be.

Not all dressage competitors aspire to ride to the Grand Prix level but most express an interest in earning at least one USDF medal.

This is by far the most successful and recognized awards program within the United States Dressage Federation.

Many people look at obtaining their medal or medals as a great sense of accomplishment and a badge of distinction.

Success Is Doing, What You Do, Well!

Regional and National Success

Since 1986, between six and twenty-six Landmark Dressage riders have qualified for regional championships every year.

Over the decades, Brad’s students have earned multiple Regional Championship and Reserve Championship titles at both lower and upper levels.

A standout year was 2004, when Landmark Dressage horses swept the Region 4 upper-level championships — winning Prix St. George, Intermédiaire I, Intermédiaire II, and Grand Prix.

Several of Brad’s young riders have also competed at the North American Young Riders Championships. In 2015, Clair McNulty claimed the Individual Gold Medal and a Silver Medal in the freestyle at the NJYRC in Kentucky.

A Special Moment: The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games

In 2010, the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games came to the United States for the first time.

As part of the opening ceremonies — featuring everything from William Shatner and his American Saddlebred to the renowned Friesian stallion train from the Netherlands — Brad was one of only two Americans invited to perform.

Riding Friesian Connection’s Mintse 384 in the famous ten-horse dressage freestyle, Brad delivered a nearly flawless performance under the lights, accompanied by a full orchestra and in front of a near sell-out crowd.

“It was an honor to be part of such a spectacular moment. A one-of-a-kind experience I will never forget.” – Brad Cutshall

Brad's students have achieved countless USDF bronze, 32+ silver and 18+ gold medals to date.

"Landmark Dressage is built on a foundation of horse training and horsemanship that supports the goals of dressage excellence. Brad and his clients make up a team that is crucial to the health and happiness of the horses and their overall success."
