Why Host a Brad Cutshall Clinic?

A Fresh Perspective for Riders & Trainers
Even the best trainers face the challenge of deciding “Where do you start? What do you fix first?”. Brad’s outside eye helps pinpoint the real priorities — offering clarity that benefits both riders and their everyday trainers.

Breaking Through Communication Barriers
Sometimes a student has heard the same correction many times, but it just doesn’t land. Brad has a gift for rephrasing, offering new angles, and finding the words or exercises that finally make the light bulb go on. Trainers often find this support invaluable in reinforcing their own teaching.

World-Class Experience
As a gold medalist and trainer of multiple Grand Prix horses, Brad combines top-level expertise with a knack for making progress accessible at every level.

A Barn-Wide Learning Opportunity
Brad engages not just the riders, but also auditors, support staff, and trainers — creating a shared learning experience that elevates the entire barn community.

Fun + Results
Brad’s upbeat, approachable style ensures clinics are motivating and enjoyable while still delivering real, measurable progress. Competitive success and enjoyment of the sport go hand-in-hand.

“Other clinicians that have come to our area seem to enhance the mysteries of dressage rather than simplifying them. When Brad teaches he uses a clear and understandable system so that when you train one horse and then get on the next horse you can produce the same positive results. Brad makes dressage very fun and understandable.”

What Brad Provides

  • Full Day or Multi-Day Clinics: Flexible scheduling to suit your barn’s needs.

  • Individual or Semi-Private Lessons: Usually 45–60 minutes each, tailored to skill level and goals.

  • Rider Evaluations: Quick assessments to set priorities for each lesson.

  • Q&A Sessions: Optional group discussions for riders and auditors to ask training questions.

  • Auditor Engagement: Tips, explanations, and takeaways throughout the day to keep auditors involved and learning.

Host Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth and productive clinic, hosts should provide:

  • Safe, well-maintained riding area (indoor or outdoor)

  • Suitable sound system or PA for auditor participation (optional but recommended)

  • Parking for trailers and participants

  • A simple schedule to keep lessons running on time

  • Any rider/auditor refreshments or hospitality you’d like to offer

“I have gone to so many clinics with upper level clinicians and they tell you to do this and do that and do something else and then the lesson is over and you are left wondering what was I trying to accomplish? With Brad everything has a purpose and he explains what you're doing and what you are trying to accomplish, so at the end of the lesson you have something to go home and work on, with a clear understanding of what you are working towards.”
